Your self-organized stay abroad

Are you interested in a self-organized stay abroad as part of your studies at DHSH? As an alternative to a traditional semester abroad, summer schools also offer a great opportunity for students to improve their academic skills abroad.

As a so-called "free mover", you can apply independently for a summer school at a university abroad and thus gain an insight into different subject areas and cultures. In the field of business administration and business informatics, summer schools often offer specialized courses tailored to the needs of students pursuing a career in these fields. Some advantages of summer schools in business administration and business informatics are:

Specialized courses

Summer schools often offer courses that focus on specific topics and skills (e.g. working with statistical software, ethical business management, intercultural communication for international marketing, etc.) that are increasingly in demand.

Networking opportunities

Summer schools also offer an excellent opportunity to make contacts and network with other students and professors who have similar interests.

Academic recognition

Most summer schools offer ECTS credits that can be credited towards your studies (only possible at international universities recognized in Germany).
